About Margarita Gonzalez
PhD, MSc, BArch, Assoc. AIA, and LEED GA
I am a highly accomplished foreign architect with a diverse international background. My academic journey began in Colombia, where I studied architecture. Seeking to broaden my horizons, I pursued a Master's in Architecture in the vibrant city of Paris, France. This academic pursuit ignited my passion for architectural exploration, leading me to successfully complete my PhD in Paris in 2012.
My career has taken me across the globe, allowing me to immerse myself in various cultures and architectural landscapes. I have lived and worked in The United States, France, Spain, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Central Asia, and my home country, Colombia. This multicultural exposure has not only enriched my professional experience but has also influenced my design philosophy.
Fluency in three languages enhances my ability to communicate and collaborate seamlessly across international borders. This linguistic versatility has proven invaluable in navigating the intricacies of diverse projects and engaging with clients from different cultural backgrounds.
Currently, I am the proud founder of Minidwell, a boutique architectural firm, where I bring together my extensive academic and professional expertise. Through my firm, I aim to create innovative and culturally resonant architectural solutions that reflect my global perspective.
In every project, I draw inspiration from my rich journey, blending diverse influences to craft spaces that transcend boundaries and stand as a testament to the universal language of architecture.
